ETHEL IRIS COEN, 99 passed away on August 24, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 28 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. Ethel's family will greet friends from 10 a.m. till service time at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home.
Ethel was born on January 16, 1907, in Prairie City, Iowa. She was currently a resident at the Carlisle Care Center, Carlisle, Iowa. She was the family historian and previously was a member of the Iowa Genealogical Society.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Donna CRAWFORD and husband, Marlo of Des Moines, Iowa; granddaughter, Marsha SLITER and husband, Louis of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; sisters, Emma ROGERS of Des Moines, Iowa and Joyce TAYLOR of Washington, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence and grandson Mark CRAWFORD.
