Stricken suddenly with a heart attack while visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lee here, Mrs. Aileen Cody Higginbotham died about four o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Higginbotham had been in one of the stores here just a few minutes before going to the Lee home, and had complained to a friend that she had a severe pain in her check. She told Mrs. Lee that she was suffering with indigestion, but had scarcely spoken before she died.

Surviving are her husband, P. P. Higginbotham of Green Cove Springs; four sons, three of whom are in the U. S. Army; Gilbert and Harold in the United States and Jack in Africa; Clifford of Bunnell; one daughter, Marie, also of Bunnell. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. L. L. James of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Ed Cody and R. W. Cody of Bunnell.

McCabe Funeral Home of St. Augustine has charge of funeral arrangements which will be completed after arrival of her sons Gilbert and Harold.
