GILMER - Marvin L. Coburn, 85, a retired crew scheduler for American Airlines, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, in Longview.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Croley Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gene Steger will officiate. Burial: Annetta Cemetery in Parker County.
Mr. Coburn was born June 20, 1916, in Pottsville. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and Bethesda Masonic Lodge No. 142 AF & AM, a worthy patron of Gladewater Eastern Star Chapter and a recipient of the Golden Trowel Award.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Coburn, in 1994.
Survivors: Sons, James Coburn of Irving, William C. Coburn of Crowley, Richard Hackney of Amarillo and David Hackney of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Croley Funeral Home Gilmer, (903) 843-2555
