Brenda Sappington, 56 of Stigler passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was born on December 15, 1959 in Stigler to Burl and Fern (Campbell) Coble. She grew up in and around the Stigler area, attending school at Keota Public Schools and graduating with the class of 1978. In 2003 she married Lonnie Gayler and together they owned and operated the Stigler Café, before becoming a Home Health Provider. She will always be remembered as loving to cook, camp, making people laugh, and loving to have her hair cut by her sister Cindy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Gayler; her mother, Fern Coble; one brother, Ronnie Coble; one sister, Kim Linker. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Anitoch Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
