Mrs. Bernice (Lingler) Cobbett, 65, of Cadogan, died at 12:23 Sunday, October 23, 1977 at her home. A daughter of Henry and Anna (Craig) Lingler, she was born on October 16, 1912 in Mahoning. She is survived by 5 sons; Don, Kittanning RD7, Gary, Butler, Ray, Brian and Alton all of Cadogan; a brother, Raymond, Franklin and 12 grandchildren. Her husband, Byron W. Cobbett died in 1962. Two brothers; two sisters and one grandchild also are deceased. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, where service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Palmer Manson, pastor of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Ford City Cemetery.
