BROADWATER, DOLLY JEAN COBB, 93, of Fern Park, FL, joined her Heavenly Father on the morning of July 11, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Donna Jean Stallings and son-in-law Richard Stallings, where Dolly has lived for the past seven years. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dolly was born to John Wesley and Mary Florence Cobb on December 13, 1919 in Henderson, Kentucky. The family moved to Jacksonville, FL in June 1923, when Dolly was three years old. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. On Oct. 15, 1940, in Ocala, FL, Dolly was married to Alva B. Moody, the father of her three children: She later married Daniel W. Broadwater, on July 3, 1963, who was a Chief in the United States Navy. They resided in Virginia Beach, VA for four years and moved to Winter Park, FL in Aug., 1968. While a Navy wife, Dolly enjoyed bowling on a league with other Navy Wives. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir. Dolly was a long-time member of Aloma United Methodist Church in Winter Park, FL and also the Friendship Sunday School Class. Dolly was pre-deceased by her husband, Daniel W. Broadwater. Survivors include her sons, A. Barry Moody (Mary Ann), Michael Reese Moody (Shirley) and daughter, Donna Jean Stallings (Richard); grandchildren; Michele Moody Lee (David), Alva Barry Moody, Jr. (Deborah), Ryan Moody (Audra), Tara Moody Sustr, John L. Maynard, Jr. (Ashley), Kyle Richard Stallings, Mark Jarrett Stallings. Great-Grandchildren: Michael David Lee, Jessica Michele Lee, Jordan Marie Moody, Mia Reese Moody, Leia Marie Maynard. Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00pm with service to follow at 3:00pm at Aloma United Methodist Church, Winter Park, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel.
