Jack Coakley, 73, died at his home Monday, December 8, 2008.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Louis J. Canino, OFM, celebrant.
Jack was born November 28, 1935, in Winchester, Mass., to the late Joseph Francis Coakley and Margaret Mawn Coakley. He graduated from St. Anselm's College in Manchester, N.H. and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corp, 3rd Division.
Jack will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, extraordinary knowledge of history, politics and sports and his enthusiasm for the great game of golf.
Jack is survived by his wife, Grace; son, Mark; daughter- in-law, Hilary and grandson, James; brothers, Robert and wife, Marge, Paul and wife, Pat, and Michael; sister, Mary Ellen Szetella and husband, Stan.
