Bessie R. Clyde Passes Suddenly
Mrs. Bessie Robert Clyde, well known West Seattle piano teacher, passed away suddenly at her home, 5933 42nd Avenue Southwest, November 27. She was the wife of Rev. John P. Clyde, former West Seattle minister and now Professor of Economics at a college in Fayette, Iowa.
Since she was not in the best of health when he left last fall, it was Mrs. Clyde's wish that her husband not return in event of her sudden death. Her wishes that private services be held were also granted Monday, November 29. The service was followed by cremation and Mrs. Clyde's ashes were scattered on the Sound.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Clyde is survived by the following children: Mrs. P.J. Albrook of Watertown, South Dakota; John P. Jr. of San Francisco; Mrs. R.K. Christy, Douglas and Ray of Seattle and five grandchildren.
John Peet Clyde (1869 - 1951)*
Dorothea Clyde Albrook (1901 - 1967)*
William Raymond Clyde (1914 - 1962)*
