May was buried in White Chapel Cemetery, Wichita, in 1978. I am thinking that the name of the cemetery has been changed since I cannot find a White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita.

Dr. May Hill Clutter, was born in Tallula, Ill. She was the daughter of ? Hill and Anna May Wallace and the wife of Edward Clutter. May was writer and editor for the Defenders of the Christian Faith from 1933 to 1972. Dr. Clutter was ordained a Christian minister in 1917 in Lincoln, Neb. She was graduated from Cotner University, Lincoln, and received a master's degree in theology from the Eugene Bible College, Eugene Ore., and a doctorate from the Christian Bible College, Denver. She was a member of the Defenders of the Christian Faith, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Women's Christian Temperance Union.
As a young girl of 19, she met Carrie Nation at a Temperance meeting in Wichita, Ks. May and Carrie became fast friends. A few years before Carrie's death, May and
Carrie formed a corporation to start a correspondance bible college called, The National Bible College. While back east on a fund raising tour, (to raise money to start the college) Carrie became sick and died soon after.
May and her husband Edward Clutter had two sons: Mark A. and Ray Hill Clutter. Ray died in 1981. His ashes are scattered in the San Bernardino Mountains in California.
Ray had three sons with his wife Jennie Hanson. Mark Hamlin, Steve and Joel.
