Emily was born January 11, 1844, in Madison County, New York, daughter of Joseph and Jenette Clute, who later moved to Big Creek, LaCrosse County, Wis. She died Sep. 1, 1928, at Rice Lake, Barron County, Wisconsin, and her remains were taken to Angelo, Wisconsin, and buried there beside her husband in the Angelo Cemetery.
On Oct. 13, 1870, Emily was united in marriage to Charles A. Bunce at Sparta, Monroe Co., Wis. Charles was born Feb. 28, 1841, at Falls Village, Conn., son of Chauncey Bunce, born in Conn., and Sophia Thurber, born in New York. He died Feb. 21, 1914, at Sparta, aged 72 years, 11 months and 21 days, and was buried in the Angelo Cemetery at Angelo in the same county. Their one known child was:
George A. Bunce, born December 3, 1874 in Wisconsin
George lived almost all his life in the Rice Lake, Wisconsin area. His date and place of death is currently unknown.
