Carolyn Joyce Clines, age 85 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 in Gordon Hospital.
Carolyn was born on October 31, 1929 in Macon, GA to the late George Vernon Knight and Mattie Mae Stokes Knight. She was a member of the St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church and has been a resident of Calhoun for the last 44 years. She was a longtime business partner with her husband Dewey of Clines Appliance Sales & Services. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Clines, Jr. and son, Michael Gerald Clines.
She is survived by her son, Dewey Charles Clines and his wife Patrice of Vista, California; daughter, Cynthia Clines of Calhoun; sister, Jewel K. Marchionda of Calhoun; brother and sister-in-law, Otis and Bessie Miller; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 AM from St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church with Father Louis Tonsmeire officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
