John W. Cline of Troy died Sunday at 5:05 p.m. at his home. He was born Oct. 3, 1893, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cline and had reached the age of 60 years, two months and ten days.
He was married in 1913 to Miss Bertie Casey, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Homer and James of Troy; two brothers, Oren of Edwardsville and Lloyd of Collinsville; seven sisters, Mrs. Lula Butcher of Alton, Mrs. Dora Porter, Mrs. Ethel Smith and Mrs. May Bour, all of Troy, Mrs. Ruth Davis of Edwardsville, Mrs. Sylvia Borst of Maryville, Mrs. Minnie Nesbit of Huzzak, Mo.; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at the Edwards funeral home in Troy after 7 o'clock Monday evening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Troy Presbyterian church, with burial in the Friedens Evangelical cemetery in Troy.
