JACK CLINARD, Thomasville
Jack Homer Clinard, 73, of 624 Nance Drive died 6:06 p.m. April 6, 2000, at Community General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 17, 1925, in Davidson County, a son of Webb and Myrtle Carrick Clinard. He was a lifelong resident of Davidson County. He retired from Clinards Auto Inc. and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Lloyd Jackson Sunday School Class. On Aug. 8, 1942, he married Miss Pauline Thomas, who survives of the residence.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ms. Nancy Black adn Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Parsons, both of Thomasville; a son, Jimmy Clinard and his wife, Lynn of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Mrs. Randy (Lori) Newton, Mrs. Mark (Christie) Smith, Scott Parsons and his wife, Wendy, and Jamie Clinard and his wife, Crystal; and five great-grandchildren, Brittani Newton, Sydney Smith, Haley Parsons, Caleb Smith and Travis Clinard.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairview United Methodist Church by the Rev. Buddy J. Champion. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Members of the Lloyd Jackson Sunday School Class of Fairview United Methodist Church are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers and should meet at the church 1:40 P.m. Sunday.
