"GREENTOWN - Carl S. Climes, 72, of 3822 State st. NW, a retired Hoover packer, died Thursday in Canton Aultman Hospital after a long illness. A native of Comet, he lived here 42 years. Mr. Climes retired from the Hoover Co. six years ago after 34 years there. He was a member of Howard D. Miller Post 436, American Legion, and was a World War I veteran. He leaves his wife, Verna; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Zengler and Mrs. Carl Wise, North Canton; two brothers, Marvin, North Canton, and Raymond, Canton; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Uplinger, Comet, and Mrs. Verla Clemens, of the home, and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at Button funeral home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Saturday. Burial will be in Greensburg cemetery."
