Timothy Clifford, 60, a member of a family prominent in local societies for many years, died at the home of his sister, Miss Nelette Clifford on North Union street Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Clifford had been in ill health for a number of months.

Born in Delphi on September 10, 1885, he was the son of James H. and Margaret (McClain) Clifford. He was employed for a number of years in Frankfort with the Nickle Plate Railway and returned to Delphi several months ago when he became ill. He was a member of St. Joseph’s church, Delphi.

Surviving are two brothers, James and Hubert Clifford of Delphi and two sisters, Miss Nelette, and Mrs. Josephine Theime of Lafayette. Two brothers, Ambrose and Tommy, preceded him in death.

Funeral rites were conducted this (Thursday) morning from St. Joseph church with the Rev. Father White officiating at the mass. Burial was in the St. Josephs cemetery. Blythe funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
