G.S. Cliborne Jr., 64, of McKenney, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dolores "Loti" Cliborne; three devoted sons and their wives; and nine wonderful grandchildren: Spencer, Jake and Macy; Timmy (Nicole), Colton, Carly and Conner; Matt (Lindsay), Austin, Clayton, Emersyn and Kipton; his three sisters, Eva Meredith, Jennie Drinkwater and Rose Coleman (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.

"Junie" also had many close friends he thought of as brothers, Billy Hudson, Possum Lemons, Gomer Perry, and Joe Mayton.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Hwy. 460) near Blackstone.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Sharon Baptist Church, 4111 Darvills Road, Blackstone, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
