Wilma B. Beatty, 93, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She was born October 22, 1919, in Christian County, Illinois the daughter of William David and Mary Jo (O'Bryan) Clements.

She was previously employed with Woolworths, Enterprise Elementary School, and Fair Havens Christian Home. She was a charter member of Northwest Christian Church, Fair Havens Christian Home Auxiliary, and Fair Havens Retirement Club. She enjoyed helping others, making new friends, and working with children.

She married Robert E. Beatty February 24, 1944. He preceded her in death June 11, 1997.

She leaves behind her son Steve (Anne) Beatty, grandchildren Aaron (Michelle) Kush, Ryan (Laura) Kush, Amy (Adam) Martin, and Brian (Amy) Beatty, great-grandchildren Jason Kush, Paige Kush, Graeden Kush, Joshua Martin, and Kandice Martin, nieces Jeanne McPeak, Sonnie Hall, Mary Brozio, Shirley (Marty) Trolia, and Nancy (Tom) Black, nephews Michael (Marilyn)Ater and Richard (Bonnie) Ater, and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, daughter Kandice Kush, and sisters Pauline Trulock, Louise Eichel, Marie Cook, and Emma Mae Ater.

Services to celebrate Wilma's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery in Blue Mound.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Northwest Christian Church.

The family of Wilma B. Beatty is being served by the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, 2091 N. Oakland Ave. Decatur, IL.
