Christopher "Chris" Clements, 33, of Chanute, Kansas passed away Monday, April 24, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas as a result of a motorcyle accident.
He was born on August 26, 1972 in Chanute, Kansas the son of Bobby D. Clements and Evelyn M. (Maloney) Clements.
After high school, Chris attended Newman Young College in Wichita.
He was the owner and operator of Clements Contracting.
He is survived by his father, Bobby Clements and his step-mother, Raye Clements of Chanute, KS; his mother, Evelyn Knapp of Humboldt, KS; three sisters, Michelle Wessling of Sikeston, MO, Cari Cavender of Chanute, KS, and Kay Schrag of Moundridge, KS; two brothers, John Clements of Chanute, KS, and Jay Clements of Ft. Scott, KS; a step-sister, Susan Sackett of Junction City, KS; and grandmother, Esther Maloney of Humboldt, KS.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Glenda.
Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Transportation Fund in care of the mortuary. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.
