Dorothy (nee Clemen) Bush, age 85, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, formerly of Tonawanda, died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Sweetbriar Nursing Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma, after a long illness. Born October 12, 1919 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Estella (nee Wahl) Clemen and had been a resident of Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. Mrs. Bush was employed in the offices of Remington Rand and in the Graphics and Special Typing Department at the University of Buffalo, before retiring, and attended Bethesda Full Gospel Tabernacle in Tonawanda.
She is survived by her husband, Edward S. Bush; a son, Edward (Judy) Bush of Grand Island, NY; and a daughter, Sarah (Jim) Sarles of Napanoch, NY. Also surviving are four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after 9 AM Wednesday at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Bethesda Tabernacle, Delaware and Broad Streets, Tonawanda, NY 14150, or to the American Bible Society (www.bibles.com), are preferred by the family.
