Obituary: Cynthia A. Bassett, 39, Carlisle, died Monday in the Hershey Medical Center.
She was born in Carlisle and was a graduate of Carlisle High School. She was a member of the Allison United Methodist Church, where she was a former chairman of the Education Commission, and a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Lydia Circle.
She is survived by her husband, Charles K. Bassett; one daughter, Christa L. Bassett, at home; one son, Chad A. Bassett, at home; her parents, Donald and Ruth Fetter Clay, Carlisle; and one brother, Steve Clay, Plano, Tex.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Allison United Methodist Church, 99 Mooreland Ave., Carlisle, with the Revs. Paul I. Herring and Roger H. Mentzer officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
