WIDOW DIES AT HOME OF SON
Georgena Clawson Elliott, 89, widow, of Henry Elliott, died at the home of her son, Raymond Elliott, in Orem Saturday of infirmities incident to age. She was born August 3, 1852, In Salt Lake City, the daughter of Moses and Sarah Hinckley Clawson, early pioneers of Utah. When a child she moved with her parents to Toquerville, Utah, where she received her early education. She married Mr. Elliott March 20, 1872, in the Salt Lake endowment house. Following their marriage, they moved to Provo where she had lived since. Mrs. Elliott was a faithful Latter-day Saint and was active in the Relief society and other church organizations during her early life.
Surviving are three sons, George Henry Elliott of Farmington, Raymond Elliott of Orem, and Moroni Elliott of Price, Utah; five daughters, Mrs. H. A. Jensen of Pocatello, Ida., Mrs. James Kusera of Bridger, Mont., Mrs. Gordon Phillips of Provo, Mrs. H. A. Howe of San Martin, Calif., and Mrs. B. E. Johnson of Price; also 34 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Lena Brimhall of Fruitland, New Mex., and Mrs. Lydia Lamb of Manila, Utah; one brother, Leslie Clawson of Sequimh, Washington. Funeral services will be at I p. m. Wednesday in the Timpanogas ward chapel at Orem under direction of Bishop Roy Gappmeyer. Friends may call at the Berg mortuary Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Burial park.
