Married Nimrod Bearden on 19th April 1832 Bedford County Tenn. Mother of 10 children. Migrated from Tennessee with her husband and 8 of her 10 children. After arriving in Texas, at Marshall, Harrison Co., TX she would give birth to two more children, Mary Elizabeth Bearden in 1856 and Argyle Harrison Bearden in 1858.
Nancy's maiden name was reported on her childrens death certificate. The first finding was on her daughter Mary Elizabeth (BEARDEN) Young's death certificate. Mary married Frances Monroe Young on 15 Novemeber 1874 in Hopkins Co., TX. Vol 4 page 1874.
It appears that Nancy's sister married Nimrod's brother Willis. Nancy's sister was Mahala Claunch Bearden Born 1805 - Died 11 Aug 1889. They are buried in the Old Flat Creek Cemetery - Bedford Co., Tenn. near Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN.
