Josephine Pulley Clary, age 83 of Brodnax, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 in the W.S. Hundley Annex.
She was a seamstress for over 40 years having worked the last 20 years for the former Dixon Dress Factory in Alberta. Mrs. Clary was the widow of Roy Lee Finch and James Curtis Clary.
She is survived by two sons Robert Gene Finch and wife Frances and Roy Glenn "Rudy" Finch and wife Marie all of Brodnax; three sisters, Lucille Rawlings of South Hill, Jeanette Waits of Decatur, Ga. and Cornelia Kaylor of Maggie Valley, N.C.; two brothers, James W. Pulley of Crestview, Ky. and William Parrish of Mooresville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Keith, Kelly, Kendall, Chuck and Tony; nine great-grandchildren; and a devoted friend Mary Clary.
She was predeceased by a son Tommy Lee Finch.
A funeral service was conducted Monday in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in Canaan Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday at the funeral home and at all other times in the home of Gene and Frances Finch 4603 Brown Creek Rd., Brodnax.
