James Clarkson, died at his home 4 miles northwest of this city, Saturday afternoon, July 2, after an illness of three years of brights disease. He was well known to many of our readers, having been a resident of this neighborhood all his life. He was 60 years old and leaves a wife and five children, and twenty two grandchildren, and many other relatives in this city and community.
After funeral services conducted by Rev. Stevens, his remains were laid to rest in Mt. Olive cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of their friends in their bereavement.
