Helen Marie Martin was called home September 9, 2007 to join her friends and family that had preceded her; husband, Kenneth Eugene Martin; son, Lloyd Nolan Martin; son, Kenneth Lee Martin; parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Lamb Church with internment at the Lamb Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.
She is survived by daughters, Jeanne and husband Darrell French, Mary and husband Jerry Efurd, and Edith and husband Luther; adoptive daughters, Marie "Sis" Hewitt and Elaine Showl and husband Tim; six brothers, Ves, John, Dean, Wayne, Vaughn, Baugh, and Billy Clarks; sister, Dolly; nineteen grandchildren; and several great grand children.
Pallbearers will be Michael Friskey, Timothy Efurd, Billy Wilkens, Josiah Bolin, Jeff, and Jeffery French. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrel French, Jerry Efurd, Tim Showl, and Lenny Bailey.
