James H. Clark, 70, of the Riverside Community died Monday, May 31, 2004 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Born in Keokee, Va., Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in copper mines in Arizona and coal mines in Ohio. He was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Clark enjoyed his shop, where he worked on small engines and did woodworking, and was an avid gardener.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Wainright and E.C. Crews officiating.
Burial will follow in the Riverside Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Martin, Bryan Quinn, Dustin Lyons, Charlie West, Chad Morris and Ray Morris.
The family will receive friends beginning at 7 p.m. today at Chambless-Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta and Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Faye Clark of the Riverside Community; daughters, Diana Lynn Quinn of New Lexington, Ohio, and Phyllis Ann Martin of the Riverside Community; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, William Lee Clark of Keokee; seven sisters, Dorothy Williams of Bedford, Ind., Nancy England and Carolyn Wiseman, both of Michell, Ind., and Mildred Robertson, Mary Ann Soliday, Norma Mahuron and Debbie Chipman, all of Orleans, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
