Born Oct. 3, 1920 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to George Major Clark and Hazel Knight Clark. She passed away Aug. 7, 2007. She lived on a farm in Honey Creek, Iowa until 1938 when the family came to Salt Lake city. She worked for Bennett Paint & Glass and Deseret Book Co. She married Charles B. Campbell in the Salt Lake Temple Oct. 5, 1944. Was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served as ward missionary, Sunday School teacher, Primary president, Relief Society counselor, ward Liberian, name extraction worker and with her husband as assistant coordinator for church services at Cottonwood Creek Retirement Center. She is survived by husband, Charles; sons, Kevin (Karen) Campbell, Robert (Diane) Campbell; daughter, Rebecca (Douglas) Lance; sister, LaVon Broome, sister-in-law, Nelly Clark, foster daughter, Rachel Crooks; 22 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services bill be held Sat. Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 E. 4800 S. Friends and family may call Friday at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Sat. from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
