The Death Roll
Alexander Clark, a well known Lansdale citizen, died suddenly of catarrah of the stomach at his home on E. Third street on Tuesday, aged 67 years. He had been confined to the house for the past ten weeks. His remains will be interred in Lansdale cemetery Friday afternoon services at the house at 2 o'clock.
Mr. Clark was born in Ireland, but came to this country at the age of 13 and secured employment in Philadelphia. In 1888 he came to Lansdale, since which time he has been foreman of the shipping department at the Cox Stove Works. For a long time the family lived on W. Fourth street, where Mrs. Clark died in 1895. He is survived by a widow (his second wife) and two children Edward, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Mabel Hallowell, of Philadelphia.
