Mary E. Burr, age 85, of Mars, died Wednesday morning, June 11, 2014, at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Mars, PA on February 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hilda Davison Clark.
Mary had worked in the Housekeeping and Laundry Department at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Surviving are six daughters, Mary D. Burr and her husband, Raymond of Amarillo, TX., Charlotte Downing of Evans City, Lila Woodard in Florida, Janice Kaltenbach and her husband, Ron of Connoquenessing, Marsha Kuhn and her husband, Paul of Bedford and Judy Pfeffer of West Sunbury, two sons, Joseph F. Burr and his wife, Edna of New Galilee, PA and Charles R. Burr and his wife, Mary of Slippery Rock, a sister, Carol A. Doyle of Monaca, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milton Burr and a grandson.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Saturday from 6-8 PM. Services will follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler, PA.
