Mr. Eugene Reitzel "Shaker" Clark, 82, of Asheboro, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 26, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

A native of Guilford County, NC, Mr. Clark was born October 6, 1930. He was the son of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Ina Sirona Pierce Clark. He was formerly employed with Union Carbide and retired from the Asheboro City Schools. He loved to play his guitar and loved animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, DeEtte Clanton and Doris Jarrell. Mr. Clark served in the US Army during Korean War.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Janice Burrow Clark, of the home; sisters, Iris "Bo-D" Morgan and husband, Jennings, Kay C. Outen, all of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Kenneth "Kessie" Clark and wife, Pat, Ronnie Clark, all of Asheboro, NC; special relative, Belinda Alcon Lambert, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
