James Kenneth Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Clark of Earlimart, Calif. was killed when he fell down a bank in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. He was trying to save his younger brother, Clyde Wayne, who had fallen. He was take to a hospital but he never regained consciousness. He lived twenty six hours after he fell.

Surviving relatives include his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clark of Ft. Smith Mrs. Etta Smith Earlimart, Calif. one brother, Clyde Wayne, and two sisters Barbara Carol and Mary Rebecca of the home.
