PEMBROKE. N.H. - Brett Stanley Clark, 60, beloved husband of Candace Been Clark, passed away peacefully June 29, 2007. at Maine Medical Canter, Portland. Brett was born Jan. 22, 1947, in Milo. the son of the late Stanley and Eleanor Clark.

Brett was raised in Derby and graduated from Milo High School in 1965. He received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Husson College in 1969. Brett spent the majority of his professional life working in the field of newspaper circulation. A devoted Christian. husband and father, Brett was a very giving man. He enjoyed the outdoors. particularly hunting and fishing. He was fond of his annual trips to the Allagash, where he spent many memorable moments with his father, brother and nephews.

Brett is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Candace; his daughter, Kate and her husband, James and their son, Ryan, of New York; his brother, Mark and his wife. Sue. of Auburn; two nephews, Andrew and Michael Clark of Portland; and several well thought of relatives and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Staples Funeral Home. Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Gardiner Free Methodist church, Highland Avenue, Gardiner. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brett's memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
