Astronomer. Clark was considered one of the most famous manufacturers of telescopes. He was awarded a medal of honor by the Russian Government and a gold medal from the French Academy of Science for his contributions to science. He is most noted for his discovery of Sirius B and the refracting telescope with which he discovered it.
