Debra Burdett Clark, age 43, passed away peacefully at home in Heber, Utah on November 29, 2005 of cancer.
Debbie was born August 6, 1962 to Douglas and Karen Clark Burdette in Salt Lake City, Utah. Debbie graduated from Highland High School and worked in graphic design and was also the night manager at Duke's IGA in Heber City.
She was a member of the Church of Scientology and established the first Salt Lake chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights. She served as executive director of the CCHR.
She is survived by her loving husband Tim Clark; children Chris Beretta, Adrienne Nakamura, Jason and Danielle Clark, father Douglas Edward Burdette, sister Kathy Burdette, brother Douglas (Keli) Burdette and niece Olivia Burdette.
Debbie will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights. A memorial service celebrating Debbie's life will be held on December 10, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congressional Church located at 2150 South Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City. Light refreshments will be served.
