Evy Lee Raper, 74, 1020 Dickson Ave., died at St. Joseph's Hospital Friday.
Services at 10:30 a.m. in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home with Dr. A.B. White and Rev. Merle Parker.
Evy was born in Rugby, a daughter of John Richard Clarkson and Martha Ruth Woodall. She married Edgar George Raper in Brookston. He died June 13, 1981.
She was a retired salesperson for Stanley Home Products, serving the company for 45 years, and was part owner of Discount Fabric Shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Home Gardeners Garden Club and Girl Scout Council.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, W.R. Clarkson.
Surviving are her mother, who lives in Paris; a daughter, Georgia (Bill) Weddle of Paris; a son, Lawrence Ray (Barbara) Raper of Paris; sisters, Dovie Gideon and Goldie Wright, both of San Angelo, Ruby Jane Capehart of Paris, and Ophelia Kenyon of Irving; 6 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren.
