Joann, 69 of Brighton, passed away at home late Sunday evening, following a lengthy illness. A lifelong area resident, Joann was the daughter of William A. and Norma J. (Keyes) Clapper.
She was a 1961 graduate of Howell High School going on to work locally as a cosmetologist and hair stylist. Joann and her husband Ron were one of the founding couples of the Classic Legends Car Club in Brighton.
Beloved wife of Ronald P. Angove whom she married in Howell on June 14, 1969. Loving mother of Randy (Patti) Angove of Renton, WA, Michael (Lori) Angove of Seward, AK and Christopher (Erica) Angove of New York, NY. Proud grandmother of Emma. Sister of Chuck (Joan) Clapper of Howell, Janet (Jerry) Morrison of Howell and Donald (the late Darlene) Clapper of Lake City, MI.
A memorial service celebrating her life was held Wednesday, at Hardy United Methodist Church, Howell, Reverend Joyce Wallace, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
