Alice was born at home in Rome, NY to Charles and Alice Roman Ramsdale. She had one sister. She went to the Excelsior School of Business in Utica, and then worked in the Oriskany School District for 3 years. She also worked at Utica Mutual for a year and the GPO Credit Union for 6 years, from 1988-1994. She and her husband John had three children. She died after suffering a massive stroke on June 23rd.
