Ann Marie was born the daughter of Joseph F. and Ann W. (Chromy) Citta.
She grew up in Omaha, and married Jerry E. Golda in 1944. In the early years of their marriage, she farmed alongside her husband. Prior to retirement, for 20 years Ann Marie worked as a department manager for Sears.
Ann Marie found great joy in gardening and horticulture, with particular interest in cultivating prize winning African violets and cacti. She enjoyed bird watching, collecting dolls, and dancing. She had a special love for animals, especially her constant companion, “Chica” a little Chihuahua.
Ann Marie was a former member of her church choir and volunteered in making lap quilts for the home bound.
