Charles Luke Cisson, 9, of 117 Tractor Drive, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
Luke was born in Greenville County, son of Charles Mark and Kimberly Little Cisson. Luke was a 4th-grade student at Dacusville Elementary School and was very active in sports. He played baseball and basketball for Davusville Recreation Dept. and football with the Furman Youth Association. Luke loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his parents of the home, are one sister, Lucy Elizabeth Cisson, of the home; his grandparents, Sammy and Diane Little of Pickens, and Joan Cisson of Dacusville; his great grandparents, Sara Pilgrim and Avery (Bunk) Galloway, both of Pickens, Ralph and Mozelle Little of Easley, and Lillie Galbreath of Dacusville; and lots of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Luke was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Cisson; and great-grandparents, Ruth Galloway and Calvin Pilgrim.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the Chapel of Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, by the Rev. Rick Hayes and the Rev. Matt Rucker. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kevin Greer, Dusty Reeves, Robert Lane, Skip Beavers, Mark Thomas, Danny Robinson, Steve Crenshaw and Randy Brown. Honorary escort will be the members of his baseball team and John Shelton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
