Elsie Seaney graduated from Richmond (Indiana) high school at the age of 16. Her mother died in 1901 and the same year she moved with her father and family to Arnold, Nebraska.

In July of 1906 she was married to Charles T. Snyder and bore him two children, Catherine and Charles F., the latter passing away in 1909. The family came to Douglas in 1914. For many years Mr. Snyder was a deputy game warden for this territory. He died here in 1928. On September 26, 1939 she was wed to Harry D. Churchill at Casper.

Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Mrs. Catherine Nuttall of Lost Springs, two brothers, Charles and Elmer Seaney; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Kruser and Mrs. Dora Beshaler, all of Arnold, Nebraska.

Cemetery records show her birth as 1884; however, obit and mortuary records state it as 1885.
