Sallie M. Bennett, 86, os Westfield, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1984 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind. Funeral services Saturday at the Markwell Funeral Chapel in Westfield with the Rev. James Whitkanack officiating. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
She was born May 16, 1898 in Virginia, a daughter of Virgil and Lucinda Church. She was married July 16, 1927 to Corwin Bennett. He died July 15, 1981 She was a member of the Westfield United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Guynith (Catherine) Kelly of Terre Haute, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Walker of Kansas, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
