Barney Andrew Church, age 47, of Early Place, Lenoir, died Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born March 31, 1964 in Caldwell County to the late William Bryant and Beulah Rash Church.
Mr. Church was employed at American & Efird, was a former manager of Westgate Theater, and was a member of Grandin Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dylan Church and Evyn Church, both of Hudson; one brother, David Church of Lenoir; and three sisters, Eileen Church Secrest and husband David of Fredricksburg, Virginia, Rachel Church Yates of Richmond, Virginia and Martha Church Shelton and husband Fred of Leicester, NC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Wesley McCarter. Interment will follow at Grandin Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
