Martha Louise King, 89, of Denton, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She was born February 5, 1923 in Dublin, Texas to George Oliver Chumbley and Mattie Jane Hancock Chumbley.
She married Harold Vernon King in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Survived by her sister, Betty Jo Hodge. Preceded in death by her husband; son, Tommy Harold King; parents; sisters, Loree Caruthers, Lucille Byrom, and Bessie Gray; and brothers, Orval Chumbley and Pete Chumbley.
A funeral service will be Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
