Ardis Louise (Christopherson) Blair, 90, passed away tranquilly on the evening of Saturday July 23rd 2016. Ardis, known by all who loved her as Chris, was a 49-year resident of Los Alamitos, California.

Chris was married to the love of her life, George, for 57 years. Chris and George moved to Southern California after George had completed his service with the US Navy during WWII. George passed away February 3, 2004.

She was a member of the Los Alamitos American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, and also did informal modeling for many local restaurants making herself a staple in the community.

A poised party hostess, Chris often enjoyed entertaining at her home for her group of lifelong friends that lovingly called themselves the “Rochelle Rascals”.

She was admired most for her strength and resiliency as she conquered both breast and lung cancer and was in remission for the years following.

Chris is survived by her children Nancy, Bruce and William, her six grandchildren Dominique, Shelby, BJ, Kelley, Jennifer, and Emily, as well as her 12 great grandchildren.

Her generosity and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Chris would want her loved ones to raise a glass in the celebration of her life and many triumphs. Cheers to her and all of those that were touched by her impressionable life.

Her remains have been placed next to her beloved George, may they rest together in heavenly peace, reunited once again for all eternity!
