Anna was the second wife of Jacob Adams. He was first married to Lydia Bowman, Dec. 18, 1823-Dec. 12, 1857.
Anna M., widow of Rev. Jacob Adams, a prominent member of the East Penna. Conference of the Evangelical Association, and formerly stationed in this city, died of blood poisoning at the home of her son-in-law, James Walp, at Easton, at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, aged 67 years. She was ailing five weeks. Deceased was a daughter of George Christman, who for many years resided on Elm above 9th. Mrs. Adams is survived by two children, Homer Adams, of Allentown, and Mrs. Walp, of Easton; also two sisters, Mrs. A. B. Bitting, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Mary Miller, of Reading. Interment at Adamstown, Friday afternoon, Feb. 28.
