Pat Ann (Christian) Cavello, 58, of New Kensington, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at the Center for Compassionate Care, Mt. Lebanon, surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 11, 1950, in New Kensington, to Joseph Christian, of New Kensington, and the late Patricia (Kuras) Christian.
She had lived most of her life in the area. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell.
Pat was a homemaker and a 1968 graduate of Ken High School.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, crafts and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband of 35 years, Joe Cavello; son, Brandon V. Cavello, at home; daughter, Nikki (Brian) Ferraccio; two brothers, William (Dana) Christian, of Grand Haven, Mich., and Joseph (Louise) Christian, of Somerset, Mass; a sister, Anna Marie (John) Moses, of New Kensington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Fox. Family and friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN F. KRUPA FUNERAL HOME, New Kensington. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
