Married to Greg Beiriger in 1985 at Grand Island, NE.
From the Grand Island, NE. "Independent" Newspaper:
A 42-year-old Inland woman was killed Sunday, and a 36-year-old Grand Island man is in critical condition in a Lincoln hospital following a one-car crash in Hamilton County.
Kim R. Christensen Beiriger of Inland, which is 16 miles east of Hastings, died in the crash near L and Second roads in southern Hamilton County, Hamilton County Attorney Mike Powell said.
Richard Davidson of Grand Island was the driver of the 1992 Pontiac Sunbird. He was in critical condition Monday morning at BryanLGH Medical Center West in Lincoln, a nursing supervisor said.
The car was traveling east on Second Road, which is gravel.
"The car went in the ditch, hit an embankment and rolled," Powell said.
No skid marks were left.
"We don't know for sure what caused it," the attorney said.
Davidson walked to a farmhouse and reported the crash, and authorities were notified at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Powell said. He did not know the distance between the crash site and the farmhouse.
It is unknown whether either person in the car was wearing a seat belt, Powell said. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
Beiriger formerly lived in Central City. Services for her will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Methodist Church near Central City with the Rev. Rich Savage officiating. Burial will be in Burke Cemetery in Central City.
