Aaron Christensen Dies Aaron Christensen of Costa Mesa, Father of Bryant Christensen, former owner of Christensen Pharmacy in Corona del Mar, died Sunday after a long illness. He was 84. Funeral services were held a Baltz-Bergeron Chapel in Costa Mesa, with burial in Long Beach. Mr. Christensen was born in Utah, moved to Nevada in 1936, came to San Diego in 1951, and moved here in 1962. He worked with his son at the pharmacy until it was sold a year and a half ago. Besides son Bryant, he is survived by his wife, Margaret, sons Robert and James of Oakland, daughters Lucile Haller of San Francisco and Nan Burdick of Reno, brothers Ted and Steve in Utah; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ray Yglesias, and Mrs. Harold Swan of Los Angeles, 11 grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.
Obituary from a Utah newspaper A.D. Christensen Funeral services were held in Costa Mesa, Calif., earlier this month for Aaron (A.D.) Christensen, a former resident of Fairview and Mt Pleasant. He died June 6, 1976 after a long illness. He was born in Fairview on May 15, 1892, a son of John W. and Laura Sanderson Christensen. Before moving his family to Ely, Nev. in 1936, Mr. Christensen was a prominent Fairview merchant. In 1951 the family moved to San Diego, Calif., and to Costa Mesa in 1962. He worked with his son, Bryant, who was owner of Christensen's Pharmacy until it was sold a year ago. Mr. Christensen married Olive Nielson of Mt. Pleasant on Nov. 14, 1914. She died Feb 6, 1956. He then married Margaret Squire on June 27, 1958. Survivors: wife; sons: Bryant, Costa Mesa Calif., Robert and James, Oakland, Calif.; daughters: Lucile Haller, San Francisco, Calif.; Nan Burdick, Reno, Nev.; brothers: Ted, Bountiful; R.H. (Steve) of Fairview; sisters: Mrs. Ray (Alice) Yglesias, Mrs. Harold (Maude) Swan, Los Angeles, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grand children. Burial was in Long Beach Calif.
