"Mrs. Anna Christensen, 88, of Winneconne, died Friday evening at Mercy hospital.
"Mrs. Christensen was born Aug. 8,1868 in the town of Wolf river, the daughter of Peter and Amelia Meyer. She was married in Oct. 1888 to James Christensen. Until 1914 they farmed in the Winchester area after which they retired to make their home with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Tessendorf, Neenah. She recently moved to Winneconne.
"She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
"Survivors include Mrs. Tessendorf; one sister, Mrs. Emma Feuerhammer, Friendship, Wis., one brother, Richard Meyer, Oshkosh; one step-son Julius Kobs, Oshkosh and one grandson.
"Friends may call at the Mueller funeral home, Winneconne, Sunday afternoon and evening. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. G. A. Schaefer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, Neenah. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran parish cemetery, Winchester."
