Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at VanHoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Christ was born in Gililing, Rumania. He married Grace Cox in October 1943 in Keokuk, Iowa.
He worked at International Harvester East Moline Plant for 45 years, retiring in 1969.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of East Moline American Legion and VFW.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Grace M. Billiet, Deborah, Iowa; a son, Robert E. Haywood, Sierra Madre, Calif.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Conrad and Joseph, both of Chicago.
